Welcome to Altitude
Altitude by Kodai stands on a terraced slope in Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Naidupuram — far enough from the bazaar to hear birdsong at dawn, close enough that Coaker’s Walk and Kodai Lake are a few minutes away.
Sixteen rooms are stepped down the hillside so that almost every one of them looks out over the valley. Days here have a rhythm: mist in the early morning, sun by ten, and a sky at six that is worth putting your book down for. Between them there is a glass-walled restaurant on the upper level, gardens in flower along the path, and a front office that will happily plan your whole day of sightseeing.
Accommodation
From a quiet, compact room for two to a family suite that sleeps four with the hills on the other side of the glass.

Nothing showy — just the things that make a hill-station stay work. Hot water at any hour, a hot breakfast before you set out, a balcony to come back to.
A glass-walled dining room on the upper level — buffet breakfast, South Indian, North Indian and Continental through the day.
Almost every room opens onto the hills, with seating for two and a table for your morning coffee.
Flower beds, a bougainvillea in full colour and quiet sit-outs on the way down the slope.
Round-the-clock hot water in every bathroom — which matters more than you think at 2,100 metres.
Free high-speed internet across the rooms, restaurant and public areas.
Secure parking within the property, at no extra charge, for the length of your stay.

Dining
Our restaurant sits on the upper level and is glazed on three sides, so the hills are part of every meal.
Mornings begin with a buffet breakfast — idli, dosa, pongal and vada alongside eggs to order, toast, fruit and filter coffee. Through the day the kitchen runs South Indian, North Indian and Continental to order, and if you are leaving early for Berijam or Pillar Rocks the kitchen will pack breakfast for the drive.
